I enjoyed attentive care and playful companionship to two cats and a dog as a part of pet-sitting seervices. I also ensured owners were kept in the loop regarding their pets' wellbeings. I maintained contact throughout the day while also keeping track of pet needs and payment cash flows.
I am crossed trained in all six departments at Amazon Fresh, primarily working with both Presentation and Customer Service. I ensure that our store's physical displays are in accordance with our systems expecations, and help manage our front-end desk to guarentee customer satisfaction.
I oversaw my high school's student council meetings, recording key points of interest and taking note of what needed to get done. I also worked with professionals both in and outside of my school district to organize community events.
I work closesly with the E-board to keep an organized workflow and manage repsonsibilites. I am also shadwoing the VP of Operations and Director of Professional Development in particular—in hopes of taking on one of these roles in the upcoming school year—as well as volunteering at numerous community outreach events with the organization.
I am taking on a simulated role as a KPMG tax associate to practice and develop my skills in tax research, data modeling, team building, and more.
I completed a job simulation which focused on conttrol testing a make-shift client's purchasing process for PwC's audit team. I also compiled thorough walkthrough documentation and outlined the purchasing process in a dlowchart and risk control matrix. The simulation also replicated what internal correspondance would look like in an audit team.
I worked with a team of women to find engaging projects to undertake in this club. I've worked with block coding—scratch—to create fun mini games, and Python and Java to code displays.
Certified by the IRS as an Advanced Tax Preparer, I volunteered for 2025's tax season. I prepared returns for low-income individuals and families. I worked with a team of other passionate preparers to help ensure these families receive every credit and deduction they've earned.
I have been returning to Franciscan Charaties throughout the semester to help organize both food and clothing for those in need. This ranges from packaging warm meals and sorting through clothing by size and type—specifically looking out for coats—to prepare for a community drive.
I worked closely with the coordinators of the Giving One Tenth Community Garden in order to set up a new public site in Newark. This involved raking flower beds and shoveling and moving buckets of mulch across the field. I also helped set up irrigation systems for incoming plants and pruned and maintained trees and roots blocking our paths.
I worked with members of the Ironbound Community Center to set up a mini free grocery store that held non-perishables and fresh produce for those in need to take. Setting up the food distribution system involved breaking down and organizing pallets of groceries with a team of people.
I helped the community foodbank organize and distribute food to communities in need throughout a handfull of towns in New Jersey. I sorted through boxes of non-perishables and handed out sandwiches in person with the organization.
